I am a cynic by nature, so when the Toll authority states that the “premium tolling lanes” will contribute to more people car pooling, leading to less cars on the road, therefore “helping” the environment, I laugh…I laugh because this is YET ANOTHER tool to get more revenue from the people of Illinois, period.
