Living and breathing in the Second City
Drat!!! Last night I couldn’t help thinking, it’s about time someone start one of those “FireSo-in-so” sites for Bears’ Offensive Coordinator Ron Turner. Offensive is definitely the key word. He has a nasty habit of using all the pieces at the most inappropriate times. Like last night, he ran Garrett Wolfe–170 pound Garrett Wolfe–right up the gut against the best rush defense in the country when the Bears were backed up in their own end zone. I like Wolfe but put him in a situation he can win! Anyway, I thought, “Hey … I could be the guy who starts that site!”
But alas, when I logged on this morning I found that someone has beaten me to it. Good for them.

That site is LONG over due. Ron Turner calls the WORST plays at the WORST times and it’s becoming quite insulting to watch.

I’m not so sure. Lovie isn’t an offensive guy and so the best thing he can do is hire a good coordinator and let him go with it. But this one obviously isn’t working out.

Are you kidding me? You’re not so sure? OK, Lovie is not an “offensive guy.” If I accept that argument, will you accept that Lovie should be held accountable to assessing when the offense is NOT working, as it hasn’t been all season??!!!
The idiot…yes Lovie is in some respects an idiot…actually has stated in MULTIPLE post-game conferences with that deer in headlight look, “Well, we’ll have to review the film to see where we failed…”
HUH? What the hell were you doing on the sidelines???? You shouldn’t have to review film to see all that hasn’t been working DURING THE GAME!!!
I second Phineas’s opinion, the blame lies with Lovie.
